An international fashion and home ware designer collaborated with a top interior designer to create an exceptionally desirable apartment for himself near London’s Hyde Park. As only one bedroom was required, the existing space was recognized to maximize the living and entertaining areas, each room almost floodlit by the enormous original windows. Everything was replaced, apart from the magnificent windows, surviving paneling and moldings and a pair of floor-to-ceiling mirrors in what was originally ballroom. the ceiling and windows heights would dwarf conventional furniture and antiques ~ so virtually everything would be designed and made specially for the apartment.
